This programme provides students with an advanced understanding of Information Technology. The programme will develop a critical understanding of the issues associated with using Information Technology systems and their impact on business processes and project management. As well as developing an appreciation of theoretical and research aspects in the field, students will acquire practical and evaluative skills in using and maintaining Information Technology systems.
This joint programme is supported by the School of Computer Science and School of Management and provides students with an advanced understanding of Management and Information Technology. The programme will develop a critical understanding of the issues associated with Management and Information Technology systems. As well as developing an appreciation of theoretical and research aspects in the field, students will acquire practical and evaluative skills in Management and using and maintaining Information Technology systems.
This MSc programme is aimed at students who are interested in the cross-over between data analysis, computing and application. Students could, for example, hold a BSc in Mathematics and Statistics, a BSc in Ecology or Environmental Sciences, or a BSc in Computing, but backgrounds in other STEM (science, technology, engineering or maths) subjects are welcome to apply.
